Hi, I’m Ruthie! I’m a marketing advisor, project manager, and creative thinker who loves helping ideas come to life.

I have a master’s degree in Emerging Media Design and Development, and I’ve spent my career working in marketing, communications, and project management. I love bringing structure to creative work and finding fun, thoughtful ways to connect with people through strong messaging and visual storytelling.

Along the way, I’ve gained experience in graphic design, writing, and web design. I’m passionate about creating user-friendly materials that reflect a brand’s personality and values. I also love working in Adobe Creative Cloud, with experience in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Express. When it makes sense for a project, I’m also comfortable designing in Canva.

At Ball State University, I collaborate with colleges and departments to plan and lead marketing projects that support their goals. I manage timelines, guide creative direction, and help teams stay organized and on track. I’m also our division’s go-to person for ClickUp, our project management platform, and I’ve led trainings and written guides to help others use it with confidence.

I care deeply about doing work that makes a difference and helping others grow along the way. Whether I’m mentoring students, leading a campaign, designing a flyer, or brainstorming with a team, I bring kindness, curiosity, and heart to everything I do.
